It begins with “Birth,” showcasing feather-fringed capes and lace with embryo motifs that symbolize the fragility of life.
The “Dance” segment features 3D tailoring and modular suits that capture movement, while “Soar” draws inspiration from the canary’s flight, using metal-coiled structures and cloud-embroidered hems to evoke freedom.
“Defence” explores protection through rhinestone mesh and boned lace, creating a sense of resilience.
In “Indulgence,” lustrous fabrics and deconstructed floral lace embody sensuality.
The “Sing” section mimics cockatiel plumage with overlays and 3D lace that represent melody.
Finally, “Death” reflects on the cycle of life with a wing-like cape in gray-black, using perforated lace and floral embroidery to hint at life’s transience. Overall, the collection weaves together these themes, inviting reflection on the profound connections between nature and human experience.
