Day 3 of Paris Fashion Week menswear edition — good morning at Homme Plissé for this AW 2023/24 collection entitled «Upon A Simplex».
The whole show is based on an investigation of triangles & geometric shape, each garments construction is based on a geometrical techniques — it’s very usual to recognize Homme Plissé through the shapes & pleated of the garments (no logo), which is not for every brand.
A pop of colors on light fabrics & complex constructions are tricks of the house, especially in this collection.
Homme plissé Issey Miyake shows are always very arty & brings joyful visuals & spectacles – it’s directed by Adrien M & Claire B, French visual & performing company – immersive video installation transforms the venue into a world that blurs our perception and take us to the Issey world with dancers all over the runway – like an imaginary river with dragonflies above; which was lovely to experience, great execution, never disappointed.
