Mariano Moreno, a Spanish fashion designer born on April 6, 1984, in Murcia, specializes in bridal, cocktail, and haute couture dresses. After nearly 15 years working for global brands such as Givenchy and Pronovias, he launched his own brand in 2023, focusing on empowering women with disruptive and innovative creations.
In April 2024, he debuted at the Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week with his collection “Something Blue,” which reinvents tradition by fusing the classic with the contemporary. The collection, inspired by Klein blue, features minimalist silhouettes with exquisite design details. Additionally, collaborations with Swarovski and Lladro add a special touch to his pieces.
Moreno celebrates a new type of luxury with his project, which includes unique haute couture pieces, bespoke dresses, and pret-a-porter, merging traditional techniques with a cutting-edge approach.
“ARCHIVES” tributes to architecture, decorative arts and materiality, reinterpreted through sculptural volumes, precisely cut patterns and a meticulous selection of ornamental details. The collection incorporates materials and accessories from the field of architecture, masterfully adapted to Haute Couture, subtly fusing both disciplines in an exercise of innovation and refinement. The set design, devised by Mariano Moreno for his Paris debut, is based on archive images of the first Haute Couture fashion shows. With an atmosphere of constructive nostalgia, the set design evokes the fantasy and timeless elegance of fashion, celebrating the looks of the “ARCHIVES” collection in perfect harmony between past and present.
