“My brand is built around a Moroccan art of living, it’s inspired from my architectural background and my interest in couture know-how. The aesthetic evolves around the idea of subdued femininity. It’s a timeless approach to evening wear with an important focus on embroidery, merging east and west through one of a kind couture garments, for me Haute couture is a dream, a celebration of uniqueness and being part of it as a guest member is a milestone for my brand. The opportunities that come from being on the FMHC platform are priceless. This gives me an opportunity to share my craft with the world. It’s a challenge to meet new people, to reach an international audience and to establish commercial and creative partnership,” –

Her silhouettes tend to infuse her native Morocco and last night’s unveiling was no different. Born in Rabat in 1982 in a cultural and artistic environment, Chraïbi took the techniques she learned of embroidery from childhood, from her mother. Studying architecture in Rabat, she moved to Paris to study philosophy and architecture theory, only to find she was in love with fashion.
Invited by the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode (FMHC) to unveil her collection during the official spring-summer 2023 haute couture calendar, which is a feat for Chraïbi.
