Rami Al Ali’s Fragments in Harmony, the Spring–Summer 2026 Couture collection, unfolds as a poetic journey of transformation and reconciliation. Inspired by the 13th-century Persian mystic poet Rumi, it transforms contrasts and ruptures into a sensorial unity, tracing fragments that emerge, recombine, and form a luminous, soft whole with near-spiritual clarity. Through the designer’s singular savoir-faire, this serene, feminine couture looks resolutely toward the future, celebrating repair as an act of creation and resilience as an ode to elegance and light’s transformative power.
Movement as Living Art: Garments breathe, flow, and evolve with the body; silhouettes elongate, fragment, then recombine, evoking quiet transcendence and inviting contemplation.
Deliberate Contrasts: Fractured motifs, mosaic compositions, layered transparencies, and a dialogue between architectural precision and fluid grace; soft overlays temper clean lines.
Visible Craftsmanship: Seams left intentionally exposed to celebrate assembly, repair, and the handmade gesture.
Luminous and clear, blending soft neutrals and pastels for ethereal harmony:Ivory, alabaster, pale pink, soft peach.Powdered rose, warm beige, delicate blue, sage green.Accents of gold, pearl, champagne, lilac, with subtle coral and amber for warmth and vitality.
Embroidery and craftsmanship drive the narrative, reassembling motifs inspired by broken glass and mosaics:Intricate work with metallic threads, beads, and crystals.Layered lace and organza for depth, transparency, and the illusion of floating, merging, reforming pieces.
Shora Karimi’s Original Score: Persian composer created bespoke music exclusively for the show, inspired by Rumi’s Mathnawi verses. Recorded with real instruments and vocalists singing the poetry, it echoes the collection’s themes, turning the presentation into an immersive sensory experience.
This collection embodies cultural depth by weaving Rumi’s timeless philosophy into contemporary couture, affirming haute couture’s role as a symbolic, resilient art form that harmonizes fragmentation into feminine wholeness.
